Here's another one, especially if you like red. (Yeah, I'm a Craigslist junkie, couple days ago almost jumped on a 71 Vega Panel setup for smallblock for $1600... someone needs to do an LSX Vega, I bet 11s and 30 MPG)

Well I can't say I've driven it in the rain to find out. But as an opinion I don't see any risk for ingesting water. The intake airflow is straight up at the top of the radiator/bulkhead junction, if anything it is less susceptible to a blast of solid spray than the factory inlet point low and straight in on the driver's side of the bulkhead. In both cases, for solid water to continue into the intake tract, it has to defy gravity and go vertically skyward. Doesn't seem like an issue...

Jolt,

Thanks for the review, and showin' it off at the get together. Nstar (Tony V.) has the same thing on his, with a catback and tune, and he wasn't worried about water coming up thru there either.

It's pretty much got me convinced to go vararam also...but I'm in no rush until I get my old truck runnin' with an auto tranny.
