It's H**L Out There!

HAIL that is.... Tis the season. I was two miles from home when all hail broke loose. I'm on a 45MPH two-lane (good for 60) and a bozo in front of me slows to 20 while we're being pounded by ball peen hammers. It wasn't an ideal passing zone but heading for the barn dude!

A quick once over in the garage and it looks like I got away with it. The thin black metal B and C pillar covers are especially vulnerable (as evidenced by the divets passed on by Alpine GMC, they're remarkably unresponsive coming up with the last C pillar piece they promised to fix).

Hope everybody dodged the bullet

I got that itty bitty hail leaving thru the Mississippi gate...then two blocks later I got hammered...looks so far like no damage...will wait till itz a sunny day to tell for sure

I was able to pull my car into our trailer bay during the worst of it.
