Paint or vinyl....

So obviously I have to get my 8 repaired, so it will require a full body new coat.

I can get it supposedly repaired + repainted for $1,500 which is extremely cheap...

However, I have been eying vinyl wraps.... for approximately $2,200.

I kind of want to do something unique.

Thoughts have been:
Reflective black vinyl thy reflects either silver or red. Then covering all the chrome with brushed aluminum to match the rims. (Giovanna Dalar 5's with the machined edge)

Satin black vinyl with same trim cover.

Plain Jane PBM pain.

Ideas?

MAACO quoted the repair and paint job.

I was thinking of going with premier graphics because they have a flat black wrapped G8 on their homepage.

I believe my quote for wrapping came from "speedpro."
I am sure I can get it wrapped for a bit less.

A couple ideas that pop into my head are doing a matte black (or dark dark grey) Firehawk style wrap on the horizontal surfaces...hood, roof, trunk. Another slightly edgier idea is to do those same surfaces in 3M brushed black metallic vinyl.

Not a fan of the wheels but I know that's not my business.
