Sunday, January 26th. www.okg8club.com

It has been a cold winter but leave it to Oklahoma to throw us a twist, in our favor!! Freezing on Friday and Monday but it is looking sunny and sweet this weekend! G8s from across the State are going to round up in two locations, cruise in, and converge at Stroud, Oklahoma! Chosen because it is centrally located between the Tulsa and OKC Area.

Itinerary
1:00 Round Up in OKC and Tulsa. Come fueled and ready to leave at 1:15 sharp.

OKC Round up location: Cracker Barrel of I-35 near the entrance of the Turner Turnpike. Address: 4901 NE 122nd St, Edmond, OK 73013. Cruise Route: http://goo.gl/maps/Lg7AK

Tulsa Round up location: Arby's off I-44 on the West side of Tulsa, near the entrance of the Turner Turnpike. Address:
5980 S 49th W Ave, Tulsa, OK Cruise Route: http://goo.gl/maps/bZLPs

1:15 pm. Both groups leave Round up Locations. Both are just under 40 minutes drive according to Google, which is usually slow when used on Turnpike. It is not a race. No tickets please.

2:00 Meet up at the Mazzio's in Stroud Oklahoma. Mazzio's is 1 block directly south from the the turnpike exit. Go to the large back parking lot. If there are any problems with parking I have identified alternate locations we can cruise to in Stroud. The plan is to stay here until about 3:00PM

3:00
After this I am leaving it open. We can take a cruise on 99 south. Nice highway, straight 65mph usually with light traffic.
Route 66 is also there. Historic and more turns but lower speeds. Still lots of character.

We could cruise as a group down to the Casino 7 miles south http://www.sandfcasino.com/stroud/ This has a large lot for some more pictures with a nicer back drop than the Mazzio's and gives us a chance to cruise together. We can also hit route 66 but it is mostly 2 lane. Twisty and historic with some spots still in business each direction. It would be fun to take this home after using the Turner to reach Stroud. People are welcome to leave as their schedule dictates and we will wrap it up before dark.

***If anyone has a GoPro this would be a great chance for video. Maybe we could also get a guest vehicle to get video of all of us together on the highway.***

If you have a two way radio bring it! Texting and driving sucks. If everyone is on one radio channel then we are all in the loop. Facebook is also here for communication updates and pictures. Looking forward to seeing friends and a bunch of G8s!!
