Thumbs down My crappy snl performance experience

Wait 3 weeks for ARH headers. Told build was 3 to 4 days, it took six days.

Showed up for dyno on Saturday and was told tune was locked. Payed 250$ for a used edm and flash. Stayed from12:30 till 4 to get it done. Was told to grab a bite to eat because the dyno would be a while and they did it while I was gone. When I got back it they needed to street tune it after a vette that was on the dyno.

They knew I came up early to see it. It's a 2 hour round trip drive for me.never sent dyno vid or pictures as promised on Monday. Had to remind them today and got them.

Got the engine immobilized code finally off and the remote start doesn't work. Told me they would take care of it. Guy can specify time he'll come to Program the key. Come between 12-5. I have a daughter can't do that. Then he calls to tell me I have to pay for it. WTF? I could have done this at the dealer and saved the drive, which I'm doing.

On Tuesday 3 of the 4 bolts that hold the exhaust up came out. My exhaust was dragging the ground. I fixed it myself so it good now.

Passing along in hopes no else go through this crap with this shop. This was a horrible 1st build experience. Will definitely be crossing my t and dotting my I with the next shop.

Tuner was good to me though.

If it's any condolence, SNLs dyno is very conservative. I saw a '10 CTS V dyno about the same as your car, so you're making good power.

Sure headers and a tune would be to bad for them to handle. Just know the tuner only comes certain days. See if the install and tune can get done the same day, so the car doesn't sit for days.

James did a great job tuning mine. He was very nice.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I've had nothing but good experiences with them and James.

In their defense a PCM swap can be a royal pain in the butt. There is a lot of electronic communication that can go wrong and strange problems can pop up like the remote start.
