Really? Never knew that
Yea, I just tried it, and it is so. However, you must turn the key off before starting the car. Otherwise, the Service Reset display does not clear, even when pressing the button again, unlike Engineering mode, which will clear just by pushing the left scroll button again.
I also noticed today, that AFM will activate much sooner than I thought. I went to get coffee this morning, while in Engineering mode, monitoring AFM. Just started the car, after sitting over night. Coolant temp was 42c. Pulled out of the driveway and headed down the road. AFM activated in less than 1/4 mile and stayed on until I slowed down to about 20mph to make a turn.
And this: We all know that Retained Accessory Power keeps power to things like the radio and windows after you shut off the car and turns off when you open the driver's door. Did you know that during RAP, opening the passenger's door will kill power to the 12v power outlet?
Rear side marker lights are LEDs.
Fuel tank had two fuel pumps. Fuel tank straddles the rear diff/driveshaft, creating a saddle bag type of design. One fuel pump is the main, supplying the engine, the other is a jet pump that moves fuel from one side to the other.
Windshield is a double compound curve. The top of the windshield curves slightly sharper near the top. You can feel this when washing the windshield.
