How to remove wiring harness from cluster?

Any tips? Have tried pulling it hard but no dice. I dont see any clips to push in.

Edit - got it. You just have to pull really damn hard for anyone who encounters this in the future. There are no tricks.

I believe it's the same connector as the video connector on the side of the radio.

So no, I don't think pulling "really damn hard" is the way to remove it.

There's a latching mechanism that swings out and up once released by pushing down on the plastic spring (circled in red).

Thanks for the info! Yes it is the same connector. I think that is what I did in the midst of my hard pulling.
