Both work well. The base is G8 specific, then add a phone mount

9.5 RPM (Red Passion Metallic) Sport /Premium
ICOM 208H

All it takes is a little imagination, some mechanical ability, and neighbors who mind their own business. -red green

Yea, not cheap, having it custom for the application usually works better in the long run.

Pikata case and suction cup wireless charging mag mount for my S9+

I use to use one of these, it's nice also - https://ibolt.co/car-docks/smartphon...combo-car-dock

You can get that with either a micro USB or USB C connector.

I use a RAM mount suction cup, mounted to the left side of the gauge cluster. Not the cheapest option, but very solid and doubles as my GoPro mount for other things.

this is what I use. Fits nicely and allows for the case on my phone (otterbox). Obviously I have this connected to a vim and charging setup that you don't have to use.

Here is what I use. Cheap, reliable, and effective. Holds my big ol Note 8 with ease, even through a 1.6 60ft at the drag strip. lol Its a magnet type, so it sticks right on.
