Hardtop convertibles top won’t seal

Have a 2009 Pontiac gt hard top convertible we got the roof won’t seal they say the microswitch is bad but they don’t make them anymore the part has been discontinued anyone have any idea how to by pass or fix this

Help

We have narrowed the issue down but the issue we are having now is the part is discontinued and we cannot find it anywhere the part we need is a actually micro sensor so trying to find one or how to fix it another way I cannot post a picture

Ah. Could you post a pic a bit further back so we can get the full perspective? Also, to clarify, which Pontiac model is it exactly?

Thinking the same thing. It appears the part numbers are... 10364428 Release Switch RIGHT and 15841460 Release Switch LEFT. If so, they are readily available on eBay. If not, disregard.
