Prolly won't be able to make early May. Maybe late May or June for me.

I'm on the East Coast for a long while, but was considering heading home that weekend. If I'm not 3000 miles away, I'll be there.

I'd like to hook up with the Nor Cal owners. I'm pretty wide open in terms of schedule. Maybe a trip down to Laguna for the upcoming ALMS race on May 29th?

I probably can't do May 1st although that will be cool. Here is a G8/GTO function posted on LS1GTO dot com in the northwestern sub forum. There is already about 15 of us headed to this event. I'm sure there will be a pre cruise and post cruise as well.

The Paddock is a car enthusiast boutique located in Danville at the Livery. The Livery is just off 680 (50 yards) at the Sycamore Valley exit and offers many fine stores and restaurants to check out.

The 202 Grill

Details:
We’ll have a large portion of the parking lot roped-off just for us.
There will be a DJ spinning the latest and greatest tunes.
Lunch will be provided by 202 Grill; burgers, dogs, side dishes and non-adult beverages. Lunch served at 12:00 PM.
This event will be covered by the San Ramon Valley Times (I am told) so we should see a nice write-up.
Please don’t bring any silly juice. If you would like an adult beverage at the event there are several restaurants/bars to choose from, but you must consume at the establishment.
Bring all your lawn chairs, canopies and banners, zip ties and tape too.

The cost is $15 per person and covers everything, but . Paypal to [email protected] to register for this gig.

The Livery draws people from all over the Bay Area so there will be allot of folks checking out our rides and asking the usual questions. Be sure to have your baby all shinned-up and ready to show. This will be a KILLER event and a chance for us to hang out, show off our mean Goats/G8s and soak up some sunshine.
I could use two volunteers to help rope off the parking area Sunday morning at 8:30 AM. Thank you, Rich
Thanks a bunch to the Paddock owner Robert Robinson for hosting & Joel for helping me cover all the bases...

Honeymoon dates are finalized so that's all gravy. Car is in the shop as we speak but they said three weeks so we shall see. Sunroof casette, hood, and both front fenders being replaced. Hopfully parts are available in the states.

I'd like to stop by and check out this event... does anyone know if there's a charge for spectators?

Why don't you pay the $15 and enter the G8 in the show?

It sounds like Dan's G8 will be going as well... 80% probability. His words, not mine.

To be honest, I don't really have a desire to participate in a car show (my G8 is my DD and is not in car show condition), but I would like to stop by to say Hi and check out the G8s & GTOs in the show.

Trust me when I say it is okay if your car is not show room. A good wash and or wax will do. It is more or less a big get together of GTO an G8 lovers. Hell if my G8 is back on the road by then you will see it has chips and curb rash but it is still all good.

The previous weekend there is a detailing party:
http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=365123

But even if you're not in the show, stopping by and introducing yourself is always a good thing!

I will unfortunately be on the wrong side of the country that weekend.
