Bay Area G8 club is now minus one member

For a lucrative job change, I have accepted a new position in New England. I drove my G8 from Silicon Valley to a little town just west of Boston. Lucky for us, I took pictures along the way, which I'll be posting on my G8 blog soon.
Sad for the Northern California area is that it is now sans one G8.

Sorry to see you leave, but sometimes it just has to happen. Good to hear you made it to the East Coast... how'd the G8 like the drive? I'm looking forward to the photos!

She (my G8) purred most of the way. I got one speeding ticket very early in the trip, so I had to be all cautious the rest of the way, so it was a very calm and suitable ride for most of the 3100 miles. Thank you for your help with the wipes. The new stock design works evenly across its stroke.

Well to the NE! It will be all good in the end. All I can say though is either garage her for the winter or time for some snow tires. It gets pretty nasty up in your neck of the woods.

Snow tires will have to be the choice. My new tires have a tread listed for snow, but I'm not sure they are "snow tires". I certainly am not going to be using those "Summer only" tires.

I'm having fun reading about your trip as well... keep it up! I'll be doing a cross country trip in the G8 this year, so tips are greatly appreciated.
