DOD delete....Degree Cam?

Going with the BTR LS3 STG II Cam kit..........
Should I or do i need to degree this Cam?
I have in the past, years ago degreed cams but no longer have the tools.
Just need to repurchase the required tools for it if required....

It's always a good idea to degree the cam and to check P-V clearance. Now, having said that, if you trust your cam manufacturer and other forum members have used your cam, you should be safe. I only checked P-V clearance with my kit since I milled my heads quite a bit (recommended), did not bother going full degree as so many here have my exact combo.

Yeah, what jgeorger said.

If you're using a stock style timing chain (non-adjustable), and not milling the heads a bunch, then it just comes down to trusting that your cam is made correctly.

I did not check mine, and ran the BTR stage 2
