Makes two of us I guess, have it on my LSA setup and bird and thrown them in countless other setups and never had an issue.

Luck of the draw, crap happens I suppose. I chalk this up to the similar situation of the needle bearings in the rockers, have nearly 200k on the bird with the stock rockers it left the factory with on boost and no issues and my G8 is in the same boat.

Johnson 2116LSR. I shift at 7200 rpm, so I need good stability. Downside to the 2116LSR is dealing with different pushrod lengths.

Using stock rockers with the CompCam's trunion upgrade. No issues either. Forged pushrods though with Precision dual valve springs and Titanium retainers......

I'm pretty sure they were Delphi lifters, I got them with new trays back when I was sourcing all my parts, but I did not buy direct from GM. The reason I didn't even worry about these was because I have LS7 lifters in my C5 since 2010 with no issues...luck of the draw I guess, just really hurt the pocket and it's my daily. I can hear the difference in the valvetrain with the Johnson lifters and BTR pushrods, it sounds "beefier" than before. I have a little more lift and duration on my new cam than before but it's still mild.

50 psi warm, running a stock gt oil pump because they're high volume from the DOD, I put a brand new one in when I did the LSA, also removed the relief valve in the oil pan and plugged it while doing the DOD delete. The shop said everything else was in great condition, they went over the whole motor while they had it apart. The only other things they found was a fouled spark plug and damaged valve seal on that cylinder. These guys are building 800+ to 1000+ HP cars so I trust them. They said I caught it early too but it was ticking pretty loud so hard to miss.
