Lowering springs and inconsistent info

I have been looking at lowering springs lately and can't find any consistent info on drop amount for any spring mainly the pedders. I have been looking at all brands and thought I had decided on the pedders springs p/n 804006 because the pedders website has the drop listed at 20mm front and 15mm rear but the g8only website has them listed as 20mm front and fe2 stock height along with the p/n 804007 pedders has listed as 20mm front and 35mm rear but Amazon has them listed as 20mm front and fe2 height rear.... long story short is I don't want to go too low and I want stock rake minimum maybe a little more rake than stock at most

If someone can shed some light or share what you have experienced that would be great fyi I have monroe ppv shocks to go with whatever spring I get

Thanks

The drop from springs will always be slightly different for every vehicle. That's because the condition of you old equipment affects it.
Biggest is the condition of your front strut mounts. If your are already collapsed then you put on new mounts with the lowering springs
then your new mounts raise you back to stock height then the spring lowers it just below what the ride height was before you started.
I found a different problem the first G8 I lowered. The SuperPro 1590 BK mounts lower the front end about 3/8" all by themselves.
I used the 1590BK mounts with the Tein springs and the front bumper of my car always scraped coming out of driveways.
here is an example of the height difference between stock and the BK's. One mount is at an angle but you get the idea about the height difference. This way you have the choice . If you want extra drop in the front, use the BK's.

I'm not changing strut mounts my question is about the springs specifically and I understand every car is different but why can't I get any consistent data at least then it would all be relative

Ride height is also higher on a V6 . On my previous G8 I likes the Tein springs. Slightly more drop in the front than the rear and about a 15% increase in stiffness. Was a good match for the PPV struts and shocks. Just took a long time to break in the struts/shocks. Was rough for 3 or 4 months

I've thought about the tien springs as well but they advertise 1.5" all the way around and I didn't want to go to low but I have read they are a perfect match for the ppv struts and shocks

Tein advertises a 1" drop in front and a 0.6" drop in the rear. Not sure where you got the 1.5" from.
