Thin paint MGM

Bought my car with 70 k 2 years ago....now with 92 k. I'm noticing more and more chips on the front bumper cover and hood where it meets the grille. Guessing this is common, do most people just repaint? I do have a crack near a mount bolt underneath where I got too close to a parking lot barrier. It's maybe 2.5 inches. What have you guys done in these situations?

I'd repaint the bumper. Maybe wait for that day you get into a minor fender bender to fix it. If you have the patience that is lol.

My G8 had the dreaded front license plate bracket and holes when I bought it, which I wasn't too thrilled about since Indiana is only a one plate state. But I think it may have been a blessing in disguise because when I had the holes removed, obviously the whole front bumper was re-sprayed (at least I think it was). So I'm pretty sure I received better paint the second go-around then what came from the factory. As a result, my front bumper still looks pretty darn good. Yes, if you can afford the re-paint, go for it. It might not cost as much as you think since there is no structural damage to repair.
