Anyone have the LED bar headlights sold by Maverick man ?

Thinking about getting the headlights with the LED halo around the headlights like the newer cars have these days, sold by Maverick Man. I've read up on how the LED bar is only on when the switch is on but couldn't I find the actual led halo wires and run them to a switched source in order for the halo to be on constantly like DRLs would be? This way it bypasses anything to do with the headlights so it won't cause problems and stays on . Anyone ?

You definitely can. I'm planning on powering my halos from the interior 12v outlet fuse in the driver side kick panel. This way there is power going to them only when the key is in the ignition. There may be easier sources in the engine fuse panel for you to tap into, and there are plenty of good grounds. Realistically all you need to do is just connect the power wire since the LED strip should be grounded through the headlight harness anyways.

I picked up a set of Oracle Colorshift from another G8 owner who went another route.
