2009 Leather Seat cover removal

Hello and thanks for taking time to read this.

On a 2009 G8 with leather seats. what is the procedure for removing both the seat bottom cover and seat back cover?

Do the control knobs simply pry off? Bezels?

Thank you!

Control knobs just pop off, albeit NOT easily. I had to pry with a flathead screw driver, and the knob finally flew off about 40ft!

I recently found an incredible pair of front seats from a junkyard that were practically new, and I wanted to peel them and do some "preventative" work on the backside of the leather. Very happy with it, and surprisingly the whole seat and skins are super easy to disassemble! If you take the leather skins off, I highly suggest doing a little reinforcement work on the underside.

Good luck, but shoot me a PM if you want some pictures of any specific steps. I still have 1 of my front seats like 75% disassembled in the basement.
