TSW Vortex's in 19"

Hey guys, I noticed you have TSW Vortex's in 19x9.5 but I found another site that has them in 19x8 too. I was looking at doing a staggered setup for my wife's G8 GT in chrome......19x8 (245/40) up front and 19x9.5 (275 or 285/35) in the back.

Can you get the 19x8's in?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the post DuBob. We would like to help you with your wheel and tire needs.

TSW certainly makes the Vortex in the 19x8 +40 for your vehicle. This model is currently not listed on our website because it is on back order. I contacted TSW and right now there is no ETA.

Was there another wheel model you were interested in?

Unfortunately, I'm pretty much sold on the Vortex's. I won't be buying until next spring/summer so I can wait.

Good deal. Once the 19x8 is available, it will go back up on our site.

Let us know if we can be of further assistance.

What about 17" Vortex wheels for a G8 GT? They don't show up on your website either, so does that mean they are out of stock? Would they fit on a GT?

The 17x8 +40 Vortex will work on the G8 but at this time, only the chrome finish is available for purchase.

Kind of a dumb question, but I ordered a couple of the 17" Vortex wheels from DiscountTireDirect, which arrived on Wednesday and had them installed that night. I then received an email the next day saying that I had another order on the way. That order turned out to be some hubcentric rings that were apparently delayed due to the warehouse being closed. Anyhow, given that the wheels are already installed, do I need these? The guys at the tire shop didn't say anything about me not having them to begin with.

Not a dumb question at all.

Hubcentric rings are used to center the wheel on the vehicles hub. They are not a load bearing item so you don't have to run them. If you have a slight vibration I would pull the wheels off and put them in. If not, I would just install them when rotation time comes around.

I wanted the Vortex as well, but got overrulled by the boss.

What kind of pricing are the Tsw Snetterton in staggered 18" chrome for a 2008 Bmw 335xi?

Thanks.

Another site listed Vortex wheel in 20x10 -120 +50. Is this misprint or can you get them?

TSW does build this wheel in this size but it is not sold in the US at this time. Highest offset available in the US is a 20x10 with a +35mm offset in the Vortex.

TSW just doesn't bring that part number into the US. I'm not sure exactly why that is.

Thanks to this post, I might have found my replacement wheels... the TSW Caldwells. I am thinking about staggered 19x8 in front, 19.9.5 in back. Any info on weight per wheel?
