Wheels for 09 GXP

When will there be wheels listed for the 09 GXP? Specifially 18's that will clear the front Brembos?

Thanks for the post pinhead66.

We have successfully measured the GXP and are patiently waiting for our fitment department to plug all the applicable wheels we carry into the system. We should have this information up on our site sometime next week.

Thanks for your patience.

I see you show a couple of wheels now for the 09 G8 GXP. Tell me, can you fit 19" Monarch Mesh wheels on this vehicle? I bought a set from you for my 09 Solstice GXP also and would love them on the G8 GXP.

I tried contacting Monarch directly to ask them about your fitment and their phone number has been disconnected. At this time I have no alternative contact number for them.

Thanks for checking. Okay. so moving on. Can you tell me about the Petrol Vengeance wheels? I like a mesh wheel, so it is either that or the Beyerns. I see that the Petrol wheels are 19x8.5, so what is the largest tire I can run on the GXP in 19 in (and I could keep the stock tires, right?). Otherwise, I could go with the staggered Beyerns with 19x9.5 in the rear and 275-35's, correct? Any issues with availability on either? Can I replace the Beyern center caps with a Pontiac one? Thanks again.

The Petrol Vengeance is produced in sizes 19x8 +35 and 19x9.5 +45. The factory 245/40-19's will most certainly work on the 19x8's if you choose to run this setup all the way around. The Beyern Mesh is produced in sizes 19x8.5 +40 and 19x9.5 +45. The factory 245/40-19's will also work on the 19x8.5's. If you decide to run a staggered set-up size 275/35-19 will work on both 19x9.5 models.

As far as availability goes, the Vengeance is only available in black currently but the Beyern Mesh is available in both chrome, silver and black.

In-regards to the caps, TSW is not sure if your factory caps will work in either model.

How long for the Vengeance wheels in silver? As far as I can tell, they are very similar to the Beyerns, except for the polished lip, versus machined, correct?

The 19x9.5 +45 Vengeance is on back order right now with no eta. As far as design goes, the Vengeance has a stainless steel lip where the Beyern Mesh has a mirrored machine lip. Both models are similar in design but there is a difference in the pattern.

I'd like to order the Petrols in 19x5.5 rear and 19x8's in the front in silver. I usually buy my wheels/tires at your Indian Bend store in Scottsdale. Let me know if you can find out how long -- weeks, months on this setup. I prefer the shinier lip as the G8 has chrome accents that match better than with the machined (flat) finish on the Beyerns. I'd go with the Yoko S-Drives in 275-35-19 and 245-40-19. Thanks much, Scott 480-945-8686

Right now TSW does not have a scheduled production date for the rear 19x9.5 +45 in the silver finish so there is no ETA. If I were to venture a guess, the minimum lead time would be 120 days.

The mirror cut lip on the Beyern Mesh is still very shiny. If you put a nice coat of wax on the lip it will really pop. Check out this photo gallery.

Just hoping the lip is shinier than the machined lip on these:

The lip on that ASA wheel almost looks dirty. You'll be happy with the lip on the Mesh.
