I did all the work myself(no labor$$$), and that was just the motor work. One more thing to add was the UDP. There was still stall, gear, seats, battery, exhaust, and drag pack. Plus I tune my own car and built my own exhaust. You can add $1150 if you send out to get the top-end ported and machined. But you can knock off $650 if you get a LS3 intake valve VS LS9 valve-train kit.

Its that inexpensive because he did all the work.... He ported and milled his heads himself and all other labor. The cam is a 223/232 111 lsa. Look at the video in the OP, all the info is in there.

what cam is being used, what headwork, etc...? ill make
my g8 that fast if all it costs is $3500.

Troutman That would have to be a record in itself. $3.5k would get me an air intake and exhaust to run a mid 13. Amazing effort to say the least, Rick.

@$3500 including headers. I ported all the parts myself so just basically a DoD Delete, cam kit, LS9 valve kit, Cometic head gaskets Pfadt tri-y Camaro headers, Vararam intake.

G8-4-Speed Oh, I'm pretty spoiled where I'm at. There are 5- 1/4 mile track within 2 hours within a couple hundred feet of sea level. My track is only 10 minutes from the house. Most of the time when there are several of us, we all meet at my house before the track. The only thing is the dealing with the humidity thru most of the year but usually get to race year around.
