  1. Pedders G8 XA Coil Over Sale

    Suspension / Brakes
Interested...what else do I need to get these up and running? I saw that I needed this as well for the G8? http://www.haddadmotorsports.com/catalog/pedders-zeta-rear-camber-pdusa5420-p-377.html Any other bushings etc...?
  2. Suspension Suggestions Please

    Suspension / Brakes
Thought about dropping to 275 when I repurchase, but we'll see. The rubbing is only an issue when the car is packed. I'd rather tackle the suspension (because it needs improvement anyway) and work from there. I don't expect I will completely eliminate rubbing on a jam packed car, but would...
  3. Suspension Suggestions Please

    Suspension / Brakes
OK definitely interested in the sway bars for sure...Tires rub the most during tight turns anyway so the reduction of body roll should improve that (won't eliminate it with junk in the trunk, but if I'm racing solo it should help). Bushings too. Guess I could start with that and move to coil...
  4. Suspension Suggestions Please

    Suspension / Brakes
Thanks guys, already got the big tires (RE-11 Potenza's, 285 on the back with a widened stock 19" rim, 10" wide rim now). Does the pedder street drop the car height? I need a stiffer suspension and reduction in body roll should help with the rubbing issues since the car really rubs on hard...
  5. Suspension Suggestions Please

    Suspension / Brakes
Haven't touched my suspension on the car yet. First issue I'd like to try and remedy is the amount the car drops when packing up the trunk/people sitting in the back. Any suggestions for stiffer springs? I do NOT want to drop the height as I am having rubbing issues already with my rear tires...
  6. Need input on brakes

    Suspension / Brakes
I'm currently running EBC Red stuff front pads and their rotors. Their rotors are crap. First batch didn't last much more than 5k miles and I had to return them under warranty (major vibration in the steering wheel). Chalked it up to a bad set...and my new set is starting to have the same issue...
  7. Professional Detail

    Appearance / Detailing
Adams PC kit, Go Porter Cable. You can't screw it up. Takes longer, but it works. I've also used touch up paint and sanded my car (wet 2-2500 grit) and took the PC to finish it off and it came out looking stock. (check my DIY paint chip repair sticky if you don't believe me) You CANNOT go wrong...
  8. X pipe?

    Exhaust Tech
^ agreed...why slap 304 on your stock pipes. Waste of money. Unless you enjoy polishing your undercarriage...
  9. Solo Axlebacks

    Exhaust Tech
enjoy! It is a great mod to the G8 and will sound 250% better than stock...maybe 300%.
  10. Need Louder Exhaust!

    Exhaust Tech
^ and ^x2....LT, keep the Hi-flow cats if you don't want it to smell like ass, slap a Solo catback (shorty being the loudest) and you've got something everyone and their dead grandma will hear above 4k RPM, yet it sounds good, doesn't drone, and can be controlled for daily driving. If that...
  11. ARH vs. Kooks

    Exhaust Tech
Kooks LTH mates nicely to a Solo catback system and sounds great. No Fitment issues and I've got no complaints about the system. I have a fairly steep driveway and terrible roads and never once have rubbed the headers. I'm sure ARH are the same..though Kooks are a bit cheaper. The gaskets that...
  12. Was Solo Axleback, now Kooks LT's, Solo HFC & Mach shorty

    Exhaust Tech
sorry guys, been SUPER busy at work these past few months. Normally summer is slow in the ad world but not this year. It's only going to get worse. Gonna try and meet up with Zep in mid August or so...I'm booked solid for the next few weeks. The pipes still sound great...everything is broken in...
  13. Solo axle back but want a bit more sound

    Exhaust Tech
X-pipe it up and keep the resonators. You will be a happy camper. Lots of videos of this setup on my channel: http://www.youtube.com/majesticix Rock on!
  14. Upgraded: Was Solo Axle backs, now Kooks LTs, Solo catted mid pipe & mach shorty

4" tips daymn son! I thought the 3.5" looked like bazookas. Would love to see some ground shots of the 4" tips.
  17. Pulled over for street racing

    Lounge
lol I'm pretty sure all of us have partaken in some form of street racing (you are driving a G8, right?). I personally raced a cop up to 120mph. We all do dumb things and occasionally break dumb (and not so dumb) laws. Cops aren't any better...in fact they can often be worse. My best friend is...
  18. Was Solo Axleback, now Kooks LT's, Solo HFC & Mach shorty

    Exhaust Tech
Nice video...sounds just like how I remember it. It's mean. I can't say I miss it though lol. Loving the new pipes. Takes "mean" to a whole new level. I think my ears were bleeding at the dyno.
  19. Was Solo Axleback, now Kooks LT's, Solo HFC & Mach shorty

    Exhaust Tech
Cornbg - the x-pipe will actually quiet that down surprisingly. I found it smoothed things out a bit more on casual driving (it's anything but quiet when you punch it). I had zero drone...only when AFM activated does it get deep and noisy. I know some people heard some of that drone at around...
  20. DIY Paint Chip Repair with Pics

    Appearance / Detailing
Been awhile since I posted in this original thread I started. But for aabry who was removing the clear coat on his finish...it is likely a combination of the orbital your using and/or application of clear coat. An orbital buffer/polisher WILL remove clear coat regardless. The PC kit I used is...
