I received my 102mm spectre housing and was wondering if I should powder coat or ceramic coat? I do have a HSRK, so high temps wont be too much of a concern.

Thoughts?

Depends on your wishes. Ceramic coating will obviously have less color options but if you were going to powder coat it black, I say go for ceramic so you do eliminate a little heat.

My opinion, based on data logging my Subaru, my Power stroke diesel and numerous other vehicles is that ceramic coating does work to a point and cools extremely fast.

Yeah, i dropped it off at a place here locally to have it ceramic coated flat black.

Apparently there was a missunderstanding: I was quoted $90 (WTF?) and he thought I meant MAF sensor housing, not a HOUSING minus the sensor. lol

So, $20 and I'll pick it up next week. He's going to involve it with another job and it cut the price down. I wont argue. :D
