So I have a set of aftermarket 19s on my G8 GT at the moment. I also picked up a set of OE 18s recently. I don't really like what's on it right now. So I have someone wanting to buy them. I was going to go back to another set of 19s. But as I get deeper and deeper in this car. The 18s are definitely a bit cheaper. I guess my question is. Should I stick with 19s or be ok with a set of 18s. I'm scouring the internet for a nice set. I'm sure at the end of the day. It's probably just preference. Thanks in advance for any input.

I feel like 19’s are the go to size for the g8. Best balance of looks while also being able to fit the right tire for performance. 19 inch tires usually cost more then 18’s or 20’s though

If you are staying on stock rims. The 19’s will handle a bit better. The 18” GT have a nice option. You can run 15mm spacers and not have to trim the stock studs. That wider stance/wheel offset also improves handling. You should decide what is your final goal. I bought Apex Arc 8 rims last fall. 18x8 and 18x9.5. Each rim is about 8lbs less than a stock wheel. Everything is better. Fronts have 16mm more offset and .5” wider so the sidewalls are straighter. That firms the ride a bit , but handling is improved and the reduced weight improves everything. Braking, Acceleration, tracking over bumps. He’ll even saved a. Bit of gas because I dont have to press the pedal as hard when I pull away from a light.
