I have a 09 G8 Gt. I drove through some water that was deeper than i thought and water was sucked up into my engine and it hydrolocked. A rod went through my block and left a hole close to where the oil pan bolts on. Under the cylinders. The hole has been heli arch welded but im not sure if i trust that to use when i rebuild my engine. The welder is good and says itll last but im not sure if i should go buy a new block or give this 1 a try. Any suggestions? Or any blocks or complete rotating assemblies for sale?
