A 2010 GXP?

Anyone else want to try and explain to this seller that his GXP is a 2009 and not a 2010? I tried. His reply was: "These cars came out for purchase in 2010".

He doesn`t say if the stock parts are included with the purchase price and at $67k usd or $89,600 cnd that should be clarified.

Also at that price there are way better performance buys such as this ZL1 Vert for 60k cnd or 44,800 usd

2015 Chevrolet Camaro *ZL1 LOW KMS RARE. - Scarborough (autotrader.ca)

Or this beautiful 15 Vette Vert with low miles for 68k cnd or 50,800 usd
2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible, 3LT, 455HP, NAV, CAM, HUD - North York (autotrader.ca)

Quite a few 510hp LS7 Z06 cars for about 50k cnd too

He can call it anything he wants.
Does not change the fact the serial says its a 09 and as GXPs go a very early one at that.

This is the same site I just saw a Fiero with a late 90's supercharged 3800 that "most likely came from a GNX". It seems they'll let any wildly inaccurate claim stand in the listings.

No, I wouldn't think so.

Maybe instead of a disclaimer, they actually vet their ads? I spent 5 minutes browsing their site and it's full of BS. I don't know who Hemmings is, but they have zero credibility with me.

Posting a disclaimer is easier, less expensive and essentially eliminates the bulk of liability. https://www.hemmings.com/about-us/

“The Bible of the Collector Car Hobby since 1954”

Seems about as factually accurate as talking burning bushes, living in whales and walking on water.

The cars worth what ever cash is in the buyers hand at that time.
Hemmings is no better than Kelley Blue book or Autotrader or Car Gurus etc, as far as I'm concerned they're all punching at rainbows with car prices.
At this point in time they're ain't a car and especially pick up trucks, that are worth the money being asked.

Back in the day ;) ...

Hemmings was a monthly publication the size of a small phone book. Pretty much a classified add catalog of cars and parts and was a good resource for finding rare parts and interesting cars. Alas, the internet came along and basically pretty much killed off that business so they expanded into the online world and now are a pretty second rate auction site and I believe part of peterson publishing which also seems to be suffering as most print media is.

A false year of release of the G8 GXP at a fantastical price. What's he have to lose? :)

Agreed and I get what your saying.
No debate about a select few new vehicles being incredible but at over a 100G's up here a Denali is so far out of the realm of possibility for me I might as well take a swing at a Kardashian or a Jenner sister for a wife.
No doubt I'm living in the past....
