My car is showing no signs of low oil, loss of power, and I've recently changed the oil pressure sensor in the back of the block. Any suggestions?

Low oil pressure warning

I had the same problem. I changed the pressure sensor at the back of the engine, also the DOD filter in the same hole just below the sensor. The live data showed the event was triggered under low rpm at cruise speed. The way I dealt with it was to increase the oil viscosity from 5W-30 to 10W-30 and it was good for about 3000 miles with no codes or lights. The last change I went to 10W-40 and it has been working even longer with no lights. I only drive it in the summer, no low temp operation. Oil changes are cheaper than a rebuild.

"low rpm at cruise speed", so that's like 1500 rpm? And higher weight oil results in less occurrences of low pressure light so that points to something with the pressure. Anyone with this situation get actual pressure readings when it occurs?
