Currently, I have Magnaflow and they're a little too tame for me. I was wanting to know if Corsa is a little bit louder? I know SLP and Solo are louder, but that's probably going to be too extreme for me once I get a cam. Thanks.
Work on making the car faster, not louder. Let the sound be a byproduct of the engine mods. Once you do heads, cam and headers, see where you are sound wise and then change mufflers if you want.

That's great advice, but it'll be around 2 years or longer before I think about a cam. When the cam does come along and it's too loud with whatever I have, I'll just stick the Magnaflows back on.
this is mine with cam, long tubes, and magnaflows. Its "quite" at idle but screams when wide open. Its a good balance for me. long rides its comfortable. I had Solos before and it was extremely loud. I couldn't hear myself think in the car let alone carry on a conversation
I can't say corsa is louder but it is definately a different tone. Magnaflow is more of a deep rumble. The corsa is a higher pitch and sounds very different than the traditional muscle car sound. I love the corsa and get many compliments all the time. It effin screams on wot.

This explains why Corsa is a little bit louder {the higher pitch}. I noticed on Youtube, all Corsa vids are louder than all Magnaflow vids. Thanks, this helped me out a lot.

I will second this. I had Magnaflow before my Corsa and I'm glad I made the switch. I have a Livernois 2c cam with a 4k converter and anything under WOT is quieter than Magnaflow. However under WOT it absolutely screams, and has a very distinctive tone. Not to mention ZERO drone around town or on highway.
So I have taken about 45 mins of looking around and none of the information seems to be very current on the subject. SO, here I am!
I am looking at starting the mods on my 09 GT. Currently she only has a Magnaflow Street Series Catback on it. I'm squirreling away money for the DOD delete on it...
I'm thinking about getting a SLP Loud mouth ehaust setup with an x-pipe and res delete how will it sound i want a deep and strong sound but not to expensive the SLP is $400 which idm spending
Hey guys and gals I picked up a used obx mid pipe section to replace my stock mid section. Has anybody tried this I'm wandering what its gonna take to connect the pacesetters to the obx. I'm not sure if pacesetter connectors will even come close to bolting up? I saw headman and others have a 3"...
So it seems like most are in agreement that a cat back on an otherwise stock G8 should add approximately 10 hp give or take. I want to know how much hp gains can be had from any full cat back on my engine over the stock exhaust system.
I’m doing a dod delete on my 09 g8 gt. Cam specs are...
My car has a Solo axle back and I'm looking at getting some headers soon.... The exhaust systems and stuff for these cars is a little different than what I'm used to, but am I right in thinking that some Kooks headers mated up to a Solo Cyclone mid section would go back to my Solo axle back?
