So, I change between 87 and the 93 octane tune depending on the price of gas in my neighborhood. I've noticed that my DOD seems more active when I have the 93 octane tune installed as opposed to the 87. Also my DOD rarely goes on when the temp is below 40 degrees. Does any of this seem normal?

WHen DOD activates can be a multitude of anti knock, timing advancment, air temp etc.....so hard to tell.........but DOD being less active below 40 I can tell you I experience the same. Right now I have DOD disabled all together.

Good to hear I'm not the only one with that below 40 degree thing. I was starting to get concerned that my lifters were going or some other garbage with the DOD.

Lots of info on here about the 40 degree mark. Majority of people think that DOD will not active below 40.
I agree with this. I live in Houston, TX and it very rarely gets below 40, but when it does my DOD will not activate. So considering all other things the same, it makes since to me.
