Hi G8 Family,

I was looking into doing a DOD delete, small blower cam, and Maggie 2300 and was quoted $14,250 :| for parts, install and tune. Is that right or too much? Thanks in advance for your input.

Other than being able to get the supercharger for $300 cheaper with free shipping from Summit Racing their prices seem in line with what is reasonable. I'd tell them, "make it $14k and we've got a deal".

Thanks for the response. I was able to get it closer to my budget by reducing the build from 8-9psi back to the factory 6psi where I don't need upgraded injectors or pump and also reducing labor time and costs. I know I will be leaving some power on the table but I'm sure with the DoD delete, Cam and Maggie(even at 6psi) is going to be much more powerful and responsive than its present form with the basic bolt ons and with the right traction should put me in or close to the 11s. I'll let everyone know when the work begins and provide updates as it progresses. Thanks again and hope everyone has a Happy St. Patty's Day weekend!

I didn't see anything on the list about pinning the crankshaft. Make sure they pin your crankshaft!!
