Anybody know the correct ARP thread cleaning chaser for the crank? I fear I may have damaged first couple threads removing pulley. New ARP bolt won’t thread.

M16-2.0 is the size, ARP specifically does not sell that size if you were looking for one of theirs.

If you think you collapsed the first thread with the damper puller, sometimes it is easier to carefully grind the first thread out

Figured since they had the bolt for the pulley they would have the thread cleaner. Do you know of a manufacturer that has one?

You are likely going to be buying a tap.
You are only going far enough to striaghten up the damaged thread.
Local machine tool companies in your area or

As I said in first post, you might be better grinding the first thread out.
Tap is only as good as the operator.
Have seen people do more damage not starting striaght or "timing" the thread,
