I decide, a little over an hour ago to take a drive. I just got back from a 5 day trip to Florida with the wife and kids. A week in a 160-HP Mitsubishi Galant, with full A/C on all the time, it was pretty gutless even though the Active Shift in it worked pretty well, it was pretty uninspiring taking it through the gears, nevertheless;

I get on the highway and there is a bike with twin headlights behind me and I know they are NOT sportbike headlights but this bike wants me to get out of its way so I get into the middle lane and give it the juice and up to 100 MPH or so the bike can't keep up at all, no biggie, I don't expect most V-Twin's to really move although I do know for sure that they can be hopped up to make some nice HP and get them going.

There is about a 2 mile cut till the next highway and I'm surprised that this bike has done what it could to get right behind me again and as we are rolling up the next on-ramp, I can tell that the bike wants another go with me as it is right on my tail and I can hear the big V-Twin in a low gear, ready to go. As soon as I clear the lines and they go dotted, I signal all the way into the fast lane as there are no cars anywhere, I mat the pedal and right away I could hear the bike giving it all it has and it is on my tail up to about 75 or 80 but still with me up to about 90 when I hit another gear and start pulling. The bike did pretty good and I could tell it was built for speed and not just a saddlebagged, stereo-equipped cruiser as it stayed on my tail pretty well but never could get by.

No matter what, it was fun and made my night or the hour or so cruise I took.

It always feels good to come back to the G8 after not driving it for a few days. Mine is down right now with water in the tank and I can promise you Ill be taking her out for a spirited run once she is going again.

I'm not glad to read yours. Shame we don't have mods to actually keep up with ****posting.
Once I realized the admin support we had didn't seem to give much of a **** I quit giving a ****. That's why you typically see me just in the for sale stuff. I still don't approve post whore for sale threads though so there's that.

the site is pretty tame and really always has been considering some others i've been a part of. not a ton of personalities and the platform is only 2 years and now 11 years old. At this point we just need someone to help control the spam haha.

side note, clubgp finally died a week ago. sad times :(

Most people also moved to facebook pages. As far as the spam I'd say flag it and hope for the best. I dont know that I can see things that are flagged.
