Which processor? You would definitely want one that does some kind of active eq correction. I've used both the JL cleansweep and Alpine's pxe-h660. These work by playing a known frequency sweep via CD and comparing the known pattern to the one received by the processor from the OEM unit. It can then adjust and eliminate any built in factory speaker protecting cutoffs.
