I noticed Dormans aluminum rear upper control arms are only $35 on Rockauto. They seem to be $100+ everywhere else. And shipping for the pair is only $12 to my place.

Yeah I was waiting for these… would’ve loved to finish up the rear with these and the BMR bushings I had for them. Ended up putting the bushings into the stock arms over the weekend. A ton of work and fortunately it’s the last of the rear that needed to be done for a complete update of the suspension.
Interesting, rock auto list Part # 526885 also from Dorman, has the same stamping on the arm (101197-L), and uses the same pics, and it is $108.79. Doesn't look any different than the CA90618PR, which is $35.

Large bushing interchangeable between aluminum and steel arms? What is the advantage of going with the aluminum?

That's a good question. I did see the other arm, and there are some small differences in dimensions of bushings. The pictures are shared between the two, though.

And... The price of the two I linked has gone up to $120.

They saw an usual spike of traffic to that product and investigated 😂
My pair of $35 arms are due to be delivered by next Friday. Guess I'll find out then what the bushings look like.
I did order a pair as well, before I posted actually. Just in case the price or availability went away. Didn't really need them... yet.
Dorman has 3 part number pairs for aluminum upper arms. I emailed and asked. It turns out they are exactly the same, just different packaging depending on where they are sold.
