Drive Belt Upgrade?

Yes...I was looking at that one as well. Was also wondering if anyone had good luck with it.

I used this one and works awesome!!!! I would never go back to a spring loaded tensioner... this one is actually cheaper and from a great company also....

love the idea, just wonder how much more force will be placed on the water pump bearings.

depends on how tight you tighten it. Water pumps survived for years with manual tensioners.

Looks like a good product. How is the tension applied? Also, need a recommendation on a compatible belt.

Looks like you put a ratchet in the top hole and put tension on it and then tighten down the jam bolt.

i had the katech one on my camaro because the stock tensioner was going bad and the belt kept jumping off, never had 1 issue with the katech one, if the stock tensioner starts going bad on my g8 then i'll probably buy the katech one for it as well.
