After wondering and noticing some stuff, I decided to do some trending on the G8 and really take copious notes...So I did a fuel economy study on my car. Same commute, about 12 miles, average speed 45mph (stop and go), 45 mins total commute time due to traffic volume. I wanted to see what was going on because I noticed fuel trending changed a lot depending on where I gassed up.

Fixed variables:
G8 GT w/ VMS Tune
Volant CAI
Solo HFC
Solo Exhaust
93 Octane
Gas ups where performed once a week at around 1/2 tank of fuel left
12 miles each way

Mobil 15.89
Mobil 15.81
Mobil 15.66
Sunoco 14.66 (O2 extenders for HFC came off car)
Sunoco 15.16 (extenders re-installed)
Sunoco 13.65
Mobil 15.74
Mobil 15.22
Mobil 15.98
Mobil 15.05

As you can see, Sunoco yielded poorer fuel ecomomy for me. I suspected that this was due to ethanol content in the fuel.

System for calculating was not using dash. It was used as setting trip to zero once fully fueled. Trending mileage until next fuel up, then taking the amount of gallons that went into the tank and dividing the mileage by it.

Example, 200 miles and 10.0 gallons went in, 20mpg.
