Clamped. No welding required, all you need is a pair of car jacks, 15 minutes, and a few common tools the sizes of which I forget at the moment.

The axle back tips come welded on. They are 3" quad round tips.

If you choose to get the larger 3.5" quad tips (which only fit the GXP rear fascia), they come with clamps and we recommend having them tack welded on by a shop.

Oh woah whops, I didn't even realize he said tips! I thought he was talking about the whole axleback unit.

ok cool that was a big factor for me making my decision.
The axle back unit itself bolts on...the tips are welded on. You can call me anytime, even tonight, at 516-655-9002 if you decide to order with us.
