Ok. Some of this is making me crack up. Functionality aside, "They look like rice", "Cheap stick ons"? You realize that (and I love my car) we have awesome "fake" scoops on our cars to try to make them decidedly Pontiac looking?

Some of us need somekind of functional hood scoop.... once we find it and do it....... I dont like the ones shown here... but will have to do some kind of scoop to get air in..... I wont go as far as tom is thinking, but something is needed very badly.... (and in my opinion, if its needed and functional then it isnt ricer... ... may look it to some)

Nope they don't have any kind of intake that goes with them, they're just like our scoops for looks only.

I emailed Walkinshaw and after several weeks of BS from them saying they'd get back to me, or their computers were down, or they're really not sure of the price untill I got the HUGE price quote I got. I asked if they're functional and I was told NO.

I think the ram air holes would need to be up slightly higher but overall, I like the the raised cowell part in the center. :drink:

I know this thread is just for grins... so I have no problem saying that either of those hoods would look ugly in real life.

On another note... Jesse, the stripe kit look great :thumbsup:

This is why we have OTR intakes. Ram Air without fu(kin' up the styling.
Waste of money, IMO.

I'd like to see a stock looking cowl hood, basically take the lines that are on the hood already and raise it. Would like to see it with an option to have the scoops or not.

Alternatively, something like the ctsv or m3 would be pretty sweet too.

Reality is, ANYTHING would be nice. So sad the only company making hoods decided to duplicate the stock hood rather than go the extra mile and make something that actually works.
