How you guys doing I just purchased a g8 v6 an it keeps running hot where should I start an what should I look for??

Running hot with or without the air conditioner?

The very basic stuff is check your coolant level. Low coolant will cause this. Also check to see if your fans are coming on. Finally look to see if the radiator is blocked by junk that is keeping air from flowing thru.

Any coolant system repairs made recently? There could be air pockets trapped inside.

You just need straight pipes. That solves all issues on the V6.
