So my car started acting up a month or so ago. When I would come to a stop after a full throttle pass the trans would "bang" into first. I hum'd and ho'd over it for a while still drivin the car occasionally. The trans acted fine under part throttle, only acted up after a full throttle run.

I googled the symptoms only to point the finger at a tuning issue. Reluctantly I emailed Pat and asked if he'd ever heard of this happening. He had not.

I finally decided to take the car into the dealer to get it looked at. Got a call today that my trans fluid looked like a milkshake!! Apparently my radiator developed an internal leak and contaminated the fluid with coolant. The dealer is replacing the trans and radiator and flushing the lines. Wow!

Glad you're getting it fixed under warranty. I used to always take my GTO to Abel Chevrolet in Rio Vista. Guys there were super friendly, and never once asked about my mods.

Hell yeah! Is John still the service manager? Plus there was a cool guy who managed the parts counter. He has a sick Vette!
