What is the best route to go if I'm in the market for new headlights. I want to replace the whole light, not just the bulbs. Looking for the best fitment and overall look. Thanks in advance.

^^^^^^ This must mean your taking aftermarket type units. That will require some feedback from those members who have swapped out their OEM units, for a pair of the tricked out aftermarket versions.

I had on the past a set that I bought from Rock Auto and fitted some LED Switchbacks from Diode Dynamics and HIDs. Looks nice and fitment was fine, just like OEM. Had them for about 3 to 4 years without any issues. After my incident, decided to go another route and use a Halo type Headlight. The only problem is, the Bulb is not a conventional type. Is different type of bulb altogether. Also, the Halo Light use the Side Markers yellow lights, turn signal are a single filament. So... the DRL turns the headlights, at night, the Halo comes on unless you run the Markers all the time, the Halo comes on.

Might have to do some rewiring to let them come on with the DRL. Other, than that, I think they look great and at night makes the car look meaner. Also, the price is reasonable, here is my post http://www.g8board.com/forums/9-stereo-electronics/272898-halo-headlights.html

^^^^Rock Auto is probably your best bet.
One of the boys up here went with a set of spyder style headlights from GTOG8's website.
I believe the strip under the projectors is LED....but I'm not sure.
They fit with minimal effort but there was some confusion with bulbs.
Contact Les on the board he did the installation.
Had a nice look.
