I want to paint the chrome black on my grilles how do i remove them?

They just pull right out from the front. They are hard to get out for the first time, be careful, there are plastic clips that hold them in. Theres videos on youtube if you want something for reference.

like said, just pull them out, put all you fingers through the grills spead out to spread the load, and PULL. the chrome it really easy to separate from the honeycome as well, from the back side of grill, stick a flat driver between the chrome and the black, then turn it till it pops, do that a few times around the grill and it will slide appart.

I thought I remember reading somewhere that if you heat them up with a hair dryer they come right out. It worked for me

Park in the sun for an hour, and then hit it with the hair dryer. The more heat the better, and YANK!!

You can also set them in some hot water for a few minutes to heat up the plastic. Just be careful when separating the mesh. The clips are fragile and depending on the age of the grills will snap.
