I will be installing the kooks mid headers on my G8 Gt have two questions really.
1) since I am installing the cats also will I trip the CEL for the rear O2 sensor. I cant seem to find a definite answer on this.
2) Will I need set of filtered extenders for the rear O2 sensors per the thread on

Yes, you'll eventually trip the CEL if you don't tune it out. The filtered extenders will delay it though

Didn't need o2 extenders and I did retune asap.

My guy got me rolling in under 2 hrs and he had to torch the rusty bolts on the cats to boot. I never did it myself and watched my mechanic do the whole process. It seemed pretty easy. Of course its easier to do it on a lift.

Well I ordered the parts for the extenders I cant turn off the O2 sensors with my flashpaq so this will have to do for now. I guess I will have to look at getting a custom tune in the future.
