Great find by Gavine on this. SuperPro offers arms with their Poly bushings installed. Seeing as they are in Australia, I would hazard a guess as they are the same Road Safe brand arms. Maybe our friends at BMR can import these too. Hopefully at a better price. Or JHP, who ever wants the business.

We have been working with SuperPro on getting these LCAs for a couple weeks now. We will be able to get these for anyone interested I am just waiting to get price and availability from SuperPro and as soon as I do I will relay the information to you guys. I am expecting to hear something before the end of the week. This will be very good for the G8 market becasue there has yet to be a good quality LCA available for the G8.

Yes, you can buy GM control arms and press out the OEM bushings and press in the Pedders, BMR (super pro or regular) bushings. However, it still doesn't solve the source of the control arm problem which is/are the ball joint(s). Thus far, the only renditions made to the ball joint portions of the arm on store shelves are GM's three attempts and Pedders. Don't waste your money nor time on Spohn's.
Are you saying that the Superpro Arms are just GM arms with their bushings pressed in? The Superpro website shows full G8 arms but I can't tell if they are their own arms or OEM. If they are their own arms, that would be another option other than Pedders.
The website doesn't say so I will send them an email and see what turns up. Since the Holden (GMH Austrlia) Commodore VE Series Sedan & Wagon 2006-2010 was originally built in Australia and imported to America, I am not getting my hopes up.

Are far as price is concerned, I imagine they would be somewhat higher than General Motors, but not quite as expensive as Pedders.

What say ye BMR? Thoughts?? :popcorn2:

The Pedders LCA's are supposed to be good, but they are extremely expensive. Hopefully, these SuperPro units will be reasonably priced. Glad to hear they are not just the GM arms with SuperPro bushings. They aren't, right?

I expect these will be the same Road Safe arms that Pedders uses, but have the SuperPro bushing and a more reasonable price tag. Fingers crossed Amigo's.

The Pedders arms have bigger ball joints and the ball joints are adjustable and rebuildable. If these are the same, it would be a great option.

I have the Pedders arms. They do not have adjustable ball joints. I believe you are thinking of the Spohn arms.

Sweeeet. I was thinking about buying Pedder's LCAs but I am not spending that much on LCAs. Hopefully these are a good upgrade from stock!

Reliability of that product is too unknown and unproven and shipping is too high to do international sales on it. The last thing JHP would want is somebody ending up not being able to use the car if something went wrong. When there are more real life data on it, only then we will consider it.

The reliability of the GM ones are well known. Zero reliability!

Considering how terrible the stock GM LCA's are, it won't be too hard for these SuperPro to be better.

Sorry. I was told during developement that they were rebuildable and adjustable by Pete. I guess the final product wasn't.

The SuperPro website now has selections to find a dealer around the world, instead of just Australia. There are several USA-based dealers listed now. Just click on "Where to Buy".

Monaro is right. I tried the websites for all of those dealers and none listed these arms. Many were specialists for specific car manufacturers.

I started off doing that and gave up after the first 8 or so weren't coming up with anything.
