I bought a certified MGM Pontiac G8 (V6) about one year ago that had 13,000 miles on it...it was and still is MINT. It currently has 17,500 miles on it. After seeing the gas mileage difference on the V6 vs V8 (GT), I think I may trade up to the GT.

I located two 2008 Pontiac G8 GTs in MGM between NJ & PA:

#1) Certified with 20,200 Miles for $23,711

#2) Not Certified with 37,351 Miles for $22,795

I think I want to stay with the certified and its only a $1000 difference with a difference of 17,000 miles. #1 above's price doesn't seem that bad, is it?

By the way, my credit is excellent...will buying a car again with payments effect my credit score at all.

Go with the first one. It's certified for one, has 17,000 less miles and for $23,711 it is far from a bad deal.
