LSA motor build help!

Hey everyone, trying to figure out what exactly is the best steps to go in for my build. Current build is a LSA longblock, LS3 intake, BTR stg 3 PDS cam, 3500 single disc lockup circle d, hollow stem valves, LT to full 3 in all the way out, ZL1 pump, stock 2.92 gears, and fixing to swap to trunnions. Therefore, the CR is roughly 9.1:1. I’m fixing to swap cams to either a BTR stg 3 v2 or GPI ss3. In the process I’ll be swapping out Oil pumps as well. I want to bump the compression up, but don’t really know how much to mill the LSA heads. I know I’ll have to change pushrods. I have stock GM head gaskets for the LS3, but any insight would help on if I’m going in the right direction with this

Is a blower going on it, or is the LS3 intake going to stay? Because the LSA has piston oil squirters, don’t put a lower volume oil pump on it.

The plan is for nitrous as of now but it may change some time down the road. But yes as of right now the ls3 intake is staying on. And I won’t be putting a lower volume oil pump in, I thought about the Melling 10355hv since previous owner had a melting 10295hv in it
Good choice on the oil pump. If it’s the G8 oil pan you want to remove the oil pressure bypass. For Nitrous I would recommend upgrading to studs to handle the cylinder pressure.
Might want a beefier head gasket for the nitrous application.
About head milling, a foolproof approach would be to install the cam and heads to check current piston to valve clearance, then remove heads and have them milled by a value that is sure to yield safe valve clearance.
