Got back on the dyno this morning for my retune after getting my new kooks headers put on over the weekend.

369HP
387TQ

He told me he couldnt get any more than 20 degrees of timing out of in without getting knock. And asked if the wife had been putting 87 octane in it without me knowing but I informed him that she knows better. We've run 93 in the car since day one. Guess im gonna find a new gas station.

Those are great numbers man! What was the increase after the headers from previous dyno?

Really close to my numbers with the same mods except a Rotofab instead of the VCM intake. I made 363/394.

Preciate it guys. Mlittleton my old numbers are in my sig. Saw a gain of 14hp and 16tq

Not real sure where you're buying your headers from but I need your supplier. Try 1200. Thats with catted connections though. I think the main reason I didnt see that much was cause of the timing. He said 20 degrees is normal for 87 octane.

Yeah, you REALLY need to be running 91 or 93 octane on these cars. Stock CR is 10.5:1 I believe. They love timing, but you need to be running better fuel to get there.

Ive run 93 in this car since the day I bought it. Its not that I was running cheap fuel (or wasnt supposed to be at least, I paid for 93).

I forgot to ask. I assume you went with kooks LT's? And are they catted?
