I have brand new OEM red gauge cluster overlays for the G8 GT/GXP for sale. The overlays were never available separate from GM but I stumbled upon a few of them. These are a direct fit for the 2009.5 clusters which all GXP's were. The 09.5 G8's are easily identified by having a VIN ending in L300000 or higher. However, these will apparently also fit the earlier clusters by making a small opening on each side of the overlay to allow the "posts" on the cluster to hold the overlay in place. I have attached pictures for reference.

Here is a comparison of the earlier clusters vs the 2009.5 clusters. The early clusters had a post on each side that you will have to make provisions for on the overlay if you have an early cluster. That part of the cluster is hidden once the cluster is reassembled.
