Ok,it’s 2023. It has to be time for a Meet

I am in if I can get my car fixed or I could bring the Camaro.

I was dealing with just a key stuck in the ignition and resulting dead battery until the other day.

I charged her up a bit and used my booster pack to get her going.

Then I took her to the coin op power wash to clean up a months worth of bird **** off it.

She drove fine and all was well

While spraying away at the exterior (I did not wash the engine) the engine stalled and when I climbed in I was met by multiple warnings on the DIC.

The car would not restart as the battery was not fully charged.

I called CAA and when it refired it sounded real bad like it had a huge miss.

Once I wiped the DIC clean I had a P2101 TB code and limp home mode.

Got her home and tried wiggling the wires and stuff but she runs like crap.

I am off on vacation this week and maybe I can get her going

( I think it has ESP as I was thinking of getting another car to replace this temperamental redhead) LOL

Well the fickle redhead started right up today.

First I unplugged the MAF

I charged the battery for 3 1/2 hours and used my jump box to assist the start

I let her idle for a bit plugged the MAF back in and read the codes and there was only one the MAF LOL

Took her out for a good run of about one hour 1/2 highway and 1/2 normal cruising and not a problem with her.

Still dealing with the stuck key issue as using the shifter trick does not work anymore

Took the shifter bezel off and the solenoid retracts fully with the brake pedal but only partially with the shifter moving to park.

I still think I will pull the ignition and remove the pin as that seems more permanent.
