Here's a little video of the Police Escort we had going to The Michigan Mile. Around 4:30 and then 5:00 minutes is when we really lay into it.

Nice! How many cars did you guys take up, and what were some of the faster runs?

There was 25 cars that raced the day we went. The fastest runs were from some ZR1's and GTR's. They were running around 185 mph. I was in the mid 160s all day and the orange G8 was right around the same just a couple mph lower. There was a 04 goat there too but she ran low 150's all day.

So what exactly did the police do here? Just close off the road?

Still running the SLP Powerflows in the video? Exhaust sounds awesome. I really like the part here you guys are putting the pedal to the metal :)

Yeah they pretty much just closed off the roads so we could open it up and not get split up on the way to the airfield.

I took the SLP powerflows off for my track events and I ran Dynomax race mufflers.

How did you manage to get a police escort? This looks awesome.
The people who organized The Michigan Mile had us all meet at a local hotel and then somehow got us the police escort. The city had an airshow and carnival going on at the airfield that day too. I'm guessing they wanted to show off the race cars to the public.

Yeah it was totally awesome. Almost more fun then going 165+mph down the airstrip.
