Has anyone thought of cutting the lug off flush with the hub, then knocking the rest out? Perhaps what is left can fall out from behind the hub plate.

One of my lugs failed last year. The dealer only charged $80 to replace it. Sounds pretty cheap if they had to pull the hub out.

Edit: I take it back, they did pull the hub. I know because I noticed they reused the spindle nut and the little tab no longer lines up with the notch in the axle...

How did anybody get this to work? I tried and it seems like I'd have to cut into the knuckle to get the stud out 🤔

Awhile ago, the right rear stud was stripped by some tophat at a tire changing shop. Not too long ago, finally decided to replace it. Had the wheel off, looked at it, thought forget this and put the wheel back on. SMH
